I have a medium sized dog and my neighbors have two extra large dogs that are brother and sister. They have always kept the brother away but the sister and my dog have sniffed and greeted each other. The other day we were all out in the front yard when my dog and the girl dog were playing (butts up, bouncing around, still on a leash). The brother was about 6 feet away when he suddenly pulled his owner towards my dog and grabbed him and threw him up in the air. Luckily, my dog is fine, just a cut on his neck and ear but was totally fine. He could have easy killed him but it was more of a warning. My dog is scared at the sight of these dogs and trembles uncontrollably. We are next door neighbors and want our dogs to get along but I do not want to endanger my dog. What can we do to mediate this?
