Serious question (hope I don’t get flamed for asking it). My brother is about to pick up two 3 year old Australian Sheepdogs from a breeder about 3 hours away from his home. His only vehicle is a pickup truck with a flat cover. (Not a camper or shell) According to the breeder, both dogs are good boys and don’t mind traveling in vehicles. So my brother is wondering (as am I since I plan to make the trip with him) if we can put the dogs in the pickup bed with the flat cover over them. We live in a cold, snowy climate, so we definitely want them to be out of the elements during the drive. We’d provide bedding and blankets to make them as comfy as possible, but we have no idea if being in an enclosed space for three hours will cause too much stress. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
