My kitten (about 2 months of age) is currently breathing rapidly with his mouth and tongue sticking out (like a dog). He's been breathing like this since give or take 6 hours ago. I want to take him to the vet immediately but the vet told me she could only give treatment later at 8 PM which is still about 3~4 hours away.
I tried reaching out to some other vets in the city (the city I live in is quite small and there are very few vets stationed here) but my phone calls weren't answered (probably because it's a Sunday which means their off-day).
What can I do to comfort or help my kitten while waiting for the vet appointment?
