She’s 16, and seems okay - she eats, drinks, purrs, but she has a massive and I mean massive lump on and around her throat. Its the size of a tennis ball and she is just a small cat, and you can feel it pretty much the whole way around her right side.
She lives with my mum and I’m a university student - neither of us have ANY money, and would not be able to afford treatment for her if it turns out to be something bad.
It is starting to choke her and stop her from breathing properly, but not all of the time. I don’t know what to do! If we took it for examination it would probably either require surgery or a biopsy. I just don’t know, I don’t want her quality of life to get any worse because we won’t be able to afford to accommodate her, I feel so terrible. I don’t know how much pain she is in or if she’s in any pain at all. She’s going to the vets tomorrow, I’m going to take her, but I just want another opinion to if I’m being selfish either way.
