Mods feel free to remove if I'm breaking a rule.
I'm a filmmaker and TV producer who, after some of my own experiences, have decided to make a film about some unethical vet practices. Exploring things that have been brought to my own attention such as excessive testing, unnecessary dental cleanings and withholding of the risk factors of a treatment for an older animal. I've already spoken to several vets and vet techs who have experienced these things but are uncomfortable speaking out on camera. I'm looking for those who might be comofrtable to do so, we would be able to conceal your identity or, even, interview you off camera while hiring an actor to portray you (while not disclosing your full name or where you work).
As I said I had one bad experience, but upon doing research I've learned that I am far from the only one and there are things ALL pet owners should be aware of and I want to bring that to attention so they can make more informed decisions about their pet's care and long term health. I am a 10 year TV producer who can provide credits and my background if you wish to seek confirmation, but would rather not disclose publicly. Please feel free to comment or DM if interested.
P.S. if you have a story you'd like to share as a pet OWNER as well, please feel free to reach out.
