Pet Care Post Attack

My pup is doing great after being attacked. She’s walking, eating drinking, her usual self πŸ™‚. We were at the dog park and she was attacked by another dog. It’s been almost a week (it will be on Monday) and one puncture wound has healed over really well. The second on her shoulder still bleeds.

After the attack we immediately took her to the vet and the vet opted to no put in stitches (wounds are “sub-cou”) she on antibiotics, pain meds and wound wash.

Any ideas on how to stop the bleeding?

It’s not a lot just a little trickle that leaves a drop or two on her skin or the floor occasionally. I know it’s coming from her moving. The vet told us not to restrict her movement because it would encouraged her to not use the leg/shoulder that was injured.

I just want her to heal up... and stop bleeding.
