Hey guys i wanted to give you guys a go as what i should dk because im dying on the inside having to do this.
Im a student in europe and i adopted a kitten a little over 6 months ago because i wanted a lifelong friend. And i got him. Hes amazing perfect loving everything. We connect really well and i cant imagine not having him near me during my study time( he sits there and sometimes sits in my lap or touches the paper)
I love him too much. But heres the harsh part Im a really good student. Having good grades and a reccomendation letter from my university( i study medicine) i applied for a full scholarship in USA about 8 months ago And to my own shock 3 weeks ago i got it. I have only about 10 days left to go to the USA and sign the paperwork or my scholarshio could be drawn back. Its a life changing achievement and is gonna save me and my parents a ton of money and make their lives much easier.
So i need proper paperwork to take my kitten with me and i gotta apply fot some documination to get it I did but due to security reasons at times like these the paperwork could take months to process I said ill take him to my home country( im a middle eastern student studying in europe) They said no new animals are being accepted due to the vitus outbreak so close to our country and a few cases have already been spotted there. Plus my dad is sick and they dont want the kitten even if i got him inside the country.
I cant leave him here with a friend because im moving permanently and not coming back here. I dont know what to do. Im a grown man tearing up everytime i look my kitten Not gonna give him to a shelter( never) I thought the best way is to give him back to the breeder and she can rehome him hopefully to a good place. I trust her
Am i doing the right thing?
