I'm a single guy in a single bedroom apartment. I'd like to adopt a cat, but was told by co-workers that it wouldn't be a good idea. They say a cat would stink up my apartment, and I'd limit my dating pool to only cat lovers. Overall, apparently a single guy living with a cat isn't a great picture. Wondering what others' thoughts are on this, has anyone had any friends refuse to come over because of the smell?
