The study aims to answer the question, “What are the socio-economic dimensions of pet ownership in India, and its relations to healthcare expenditures?” So, if you currently have or have had pets in the past, you could enter your response.

Research Objectives

1. To conduct a profiling of pet owners with respect to family structures and cycles
2. To identify explicit costs of pet ownership
3. To identify reduction in healthcare expenditures of the owner (if any) due to companionship of a pet
