Traveling 2,000+ mi w/pets via Prius

I know. Just hear me out. TLDR: Is it sanely doable?

My husband has a job opportunity in Idaho. We currently reside in Alaska, with our 13 year old daughter, a boxer, and 3 cats.

My husband is driving down in his truck a month before us to get housing situated.

That leaves me with my Prius to haul the family.

Cat #1 is neurotic about car rides. And kennels.

Cat #2 is neurotic about change in routine and bougie about water. He only drinks from the sink or a fountain, which is ridiculous as he was a stray prior to his 4 month stint in the shelter.

Cat #3 is a "normal" cat.

Dog loves car rides. She's a shelter rescue between 3-5 years so she's pumped about EVERYTHING i.e. so much energy and boxing.

13 year old is a sweet, typical obnoxious teen. Who gets booooooooored.

My husband says I should trade my car in for a larger vehicle. But, though I owe less than the car is worth, I still have 3 years left with the minimum payment.

Should I attempt to drive with the zoo?

Has anyone done something similar to this before?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Edit: a word.
