I’ve never been allergic to animals before and to my knowledge I’m still not allergic to animals, just my gf’s cat. There’s 2 stray cats that I feed and pet frequently and I’m perfectly fine. I was petting a dog yesterday and it was licking me and I’m fine.
For some reason my gf’s cat makes me itchy. Whatever part of my skin it touches, it will become itchy and/or grow itchy bumps. I thought it might b becuz the cat has never been washed so we took it to the pet store to have it washed. Unfortunately, after touching the cat, I’m itchy again. What could be causing this? Is it possible to b only allergic to this breed?
