Can anyone advise?? Cecotrope production?

Okay, so my rabbit (I got him on Tuesday) is 3 months old and has been diagnosed with GI Stasis yesterday during a checkup. The vet prescribed medication, and it seems to be making him feel better: He was binkying yesterday and running around fast yesterday and this morning.

He isn’t lying down as much, but today he has been producing a few cecotropes? He hasn’t ate them, he just sniffs and ignores them.

Diet background: I don’t know what the past owner was feeding him apart from pellets, carrots, cauliflower leaves and cabbage leaves.

Since he’s been in my care, I’ve been giving unlimited hay, pellets (less than a handful), controlled amount of treats. But with his medication, he has to take it with a bit of banana (not a slice, more like a little chunk) as syringes distress him.
