My dog (a 3 year old boxer pit bull mutt) has had a history of scooting her butt on the ground. The first time it happened we took her to the vet. The vet said it was no big deal and she just needed her anal gland expressed. This has continued on for months and months and it seems like her scooting comes along every few months. We took her to the vet about a week ago to get her glands expressed and she is already scooting again. I just wanted to see if this is indeed normal or if we need to get a second opinion? Is this something we’ll forever have to take her in for or is there another underlying issue? Thanks!
