My brother threw his Guinea pigs in the trash?!!
My 18 year old brother decided that he no longer wants guinea pigs since he is going away to college to be a vet tech and threw them away yesterday (he could’ve just given them to me ;-;) he confessed to the crime 14 hours later and yesterday was over 80 degrees. I am currently at the hospital receiving care but when I get home what are the chances of the piggies being alive?? They’re unbonded boars probably in a petco carrier box.. what are the chances of them being alive even though they have three killer factors (Heat stress, suffocation, fighting to the death)
Update: we see the box but we have a community trash can so retrieving them is hard.. we don’t hear any wheeking or sounds like that as we are rummaging through the trash
Update: we see patches of fur around the trash bags, indicating that they probably have gotten out, we’ve asked neighbors if they’ve seen or heard a guinea pig and they’ve said no.
