Hey guys, I have an issue. I recently rescued an animal from an abusive owner, and I want to take him to a Vet and have him checked out - more so than I've been able to do, as I'm afraid he may have some greenstick fractures that are still bothering him. However, he's chipped, and I'm afraid when I take him in, the abusive owner will be notified and he'll be put back into that home. Do microchip companies/vets understand and work with these situations, or would I be better off just hoping he's able to mend on his own?
Edit-- I understand this sounds like I stole him, and I totally did, but he is a good boy and after seeing him beaten HARSHLY multiple times in a day, I'd do it again. I'm just trying to help this fellow out
