Hello, I know going to the vet is the best option, but I was wondering what the most effective over the counter medication for ear mites for cats is. I am wondering because I am planning on rescuing a cat soon. I already have six cats who are in good health. This cat will be in his own room but I do believe he might have ear mites since he's been living outside ever since his abusive owner kicked him out (quite literally). Having rescued many pets in the past, I understand how much vet bills can add up. Any ideas or advice will be appreciated. Thank you.
