My dog is mostly potty trained. She has accidents once in a while if she has to go while I'm gone, but other than that, she knows she's not supposed to go inside. However, I have never taught her not to throw up inside, as I felt like that's something she has no control over, and I didn't want her to feel ashamed everytime she got sick.
The problem is that now, if she has to use the bathroom, and I can't immediately take her out, she will opt to throw up instead. I don't know if she does it on purpose, but why does she do it? She never does if I take her out immediately, and usually won't if I'm in the same room. I don't think she even does it while I'm gone, but I can't be sure.
