So my dog just turned 11 this year and diabetic. Something tells me I don't have a lot of time left with her and I want her to 'see' (she is mostly blind) the ocean before she has to leave me. I live in Iowa and think it would be interesting to go down to New Orleans to see where the Mississippi river converges with the ocean and have that experience. A ghost tour with her could be interesting or at least something on the side. I was hoping for some other suggestions on things to do and or any tips for traveling with a dog/ diabetic dog.... I have never really traveled anywhere with my dog and want to experience that with her and give her a fun time for us both to remember and make it as stress-free and fun. I'm thinking of going at the beginning of June and maybe more mask things will be relaxed. Thanks ahead of time for any tips or ideas! ;)
