Will be calling vet when they're open again but just wondering if anyone can potentially ease my mind;
Took my cat to the vet yesterday as she was constipated. She received Microlax/a suppository and defecated ~1 hour later. Since then I've given her 4 doses of Lactulose (over the course of ~30 hours) however no other bowel movements since then. She looks a little bit more bloated than she did before but I'm pretty sure that can be a side effect of Lactulose - can anyone confirm/disconfirm this?
How long does Lactulose usually take to work (or how long did it take to work for your cat)? Is some bloating common? Also, she has urinated ~5 times in 30 hours which seems a bit excessive to me but I'm thinking it might be because I've been adding some water to her wet food... maybe?
Thank you!!!!
