Concerns for cat, threw up once and maybe constipated?

Cat turned 2 recently. She has medium-long hair however never seen her throw up hairballs so it could be hairball backup.

3 days ago an hour after eating, she threw up undigested food. This was a first, never seen her throw up before.

I assumed the food was bad. I threw the food away and started giving her wet food which she likes and is probably more healthy.

However since that day, I think she is constipated, so I'm still giving her wet food because of the gravy/water.

She is not throwing up anymore, but concerned about constipation. .

What is confusing is that she is eating fine, seems happy, tail high, acting normal.

If she doesn't go tomorrow, I imagine I need to schedule a vet appointment, but it may be costly. What can I do to maybe fix the problem before having to pay for vet?

edit: also does catnip help with constipation?
