Hello, I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this. My cat has a bald spot on his back since about a week before Super Bowl Sunday. I just recently noticed two very small bald spots over by his ears, but I don’t know how long they’ve been there. He isn’t itching them, it’s at an area he can’t lick. There is some minor fur regrowth on the big bald spot but it seems to have stopped. It isn’t flaking off or anything and doesn’t bother him at all.
I did see a vet and she had no clue what it could be. She thought it was a typical flea medication reaction however he doesn’t get flea meds as we don’t really have fleas here. She prescribed animax ointment I believe and that didn’t help.
I know Reddit isn’t a good substitute for a vet visit but never hurts to get a second opinion on what it could be, what things to look for, and questions I can ask the vet on the next visit.
