Hello I am a 16 year old cat owner of a 2 year old cat. I just want to clarify that my financial situation is not good. Anyway I have problems with my cat. Not serious but since I'm new to having my OWN cat I need advice that I can't find anywhere else. Okay so my cat is always going under my bed or my brother's bed. Everyday, all-day and I don't know why. I haven't been rough, I play with her for at least 10 minutes a day, she is fine health wise as far as I know, and I got her around the 20th or so of September. Another thing is my family, especially My older brother doesn't take me seriously when I say stuff like " deodorants, essential oils, febreze, etc is bad for cats" he says I'm wrong and shouldn't believe everyone on the internet. Am I being to overprotective? Another thing is I think my cat has separation anxiety because whenever there is no one near her she will claw at someone door (or mine because she lives in my room) and meow a lot. I also don't usually let my cat out of my room because I am scared of her eating stuff on the floor like plastic or fluff and stuff cause I heard that that stuff can kill cats. Also fyi my cat is a Bombay. And I don't have a lot of other info because my mom adopted her from another family.
