I am worried about my cat and my ability to care for her - looking for advice

Hi - I am at a loss for what to do with my cat. She has been with me since she was a kitten, just over a year, and she is sweet and I love her. But I don't know what to do with her either. She has a number of behavioral problems that I don't think I've had time to address - most pressing is her use of my roommates bed as a litter box for months... Besides that she has an eye problem that she's had since she was born. Vets can't figure out what it is, and I can't afford to keep taking her to see them, especially if they can't help me figure out what to do for her.

I don't know, I know about surrender programs and the humane society, but I worry that her health problems might lead them to euthanasia and I guess I'm a little bit scared to let her go and admit I'm not able to take care of her. I mean, I can but this is getting to be too much.

I dunno, I'm just ranting about my cat I don't want her to have a bad life. If anyone's got advice/help, or knows how to talk someone through this stuff, I could use it right now :D
