I’m having some serious trouble with my new kitten. He is a rescued feral cat, and since I got him he has had diarrhea. At first it was not bloody, but then it become bloody and his poor bum was super red and irritated. The vet cultured his poo and it all came back negative. In the meantime he has been on an anti diarrheal paste which only helped for a day. Now he’s back to loose stools and he’s not going in his litter box anymore. It’s all over the carpet and in my bed. He seemed to develop the diarrhea after he was given food that his tummy wasn’t used to, so starting today he is only getting the original food I got him on. I also added a teaspoon of pumpkin. Is there anything else I can do? Please help.
