Does anybody know if there is something wrong with my kitten? I talked to a vet online but I would really like some more help before I go spend $$$ at the vet. The vet online I talked to said it may be allergies or some kind of infection, but she couldn’t quite tell from the videos I sent to her if it seemed more of a respiratory issue or GI issue. I’ve noticed he’s very noisy now when breathing and he coughs or makes really strange noises more often. Two days ago he was sniffing around my room and he started gagging like he wanted to puke but only a white spit like substance came out, everything seemed fine after that until the next day I went to feed him a small treat and he did the same thing except this time he started making the noises while breathing. I’m not sure if maybe something is stuck in his throat that I didn’t see him ingest it or what’s going on. He does still play and run around with my older cat when he isn’t tired. They have only been outside one time in my backyard on a leash, sometimes they go on my screened in porch but that’s about all the outside contact they’ve had. Am I over worrying? The vet said if I didn’t notice any signs of getting better in 7 days or if I see it getting worse to schedule an appointment with one in town. Help
