I inherited my mom's 14 yo cat when she passed 2 months ago. No prior issues with peeing. She doesn't like my cat. I've tried feliway and it doesnt work. She started peeing on the floor 2 weeks ago, I have 3 boxes spread around, including one robot which she uses regularly. I'm taking her to the vet this week just to be sure but I'm pretty sure it's stress.
I rent in an at least 80 year old house, original hardwood floors that have been treated obviously. I got a blacklight to find the spots easier but when I shine the blacklight on the floor the entire thing is evenly a dim green color and glows slightly. I can find the spot if I look really close but I'm really perplexed why the light shines differently on the floor.
