So I have a 59lb pit mix who is around 6yrs old, he recently started bringing in ticks. I treated him w frontline topical stuff 3 days ago & within a few hours he got mild tremors. I thought he was just shaking bc he was cold, he had the medicine before when he was younger. However, he soon became lethargic and wouldn't eat/drink and breathed slightly quicker than usual. I paid for the pet poison hotline and they said to take him to the vet ( great 58$ spent -_-). Anywho, the vet gave him fluids, anti-nausea shot & take home meds & ran bloodwork on liver/kidneys and it came back normal. That was yesterday... Today he is still acting very sluggish and will eat half a treat or so.. no shaking but still feel like his breathing is off. I washed him off with dawn soap yesterday as well. Is there anything else I should be doing, is my baby going to make it??
