I have a 2 year old maltese, and he's got some anxiety/dominance issues, which I suspect is the source of the "issue" (it's not really a problem, I'm just curious)
Basically, when I flip him on his belly to scratch him, he HATES it when I scratch his sides. Since he's a tiny boy, his ribcage covers most of his belly so I just scratch/pet there. But when I do, he starts to gnaw on my hands, and if I go too long he absolutely loses his shit. He'll squeal and then flip over and run away.
Again, I don't really do it when it bothers him, I'm just curious as to what makes him hate it so much?
