I want my cat back. I miss her.

I lost my cat I love dearly. I’m sick with guilt, worry, and sadness. She’s been gone over a month.

I think I found her but the cat that could be her is in a giant park with trees, shrubs, lakes, etc.

I tried to trap the cat I think is her, with no luck (she’s smart and can hunt so I don’t think a trap will work for her).

I got really close one night, but the cat/she ran fast and far away.

I just want her back and I can’t even tell if this cat I’m trying to get is actually her or another look-a-like.

She’s chipped but I’ve heard nothing from shelters/animal control. I am still hoping to get a call.

What actually happens to lost cats? Is she dead? Did someone hurt her? Do people actually do that? Find a cat and hurt it?Did She become feral (she’s always been a big outside kitty? Does someone else have her? Any insight at all.

I just miss her so bad and I’m so worried she’s looking for her home and can’t find it. Breaks my heart. Her cat siblings are still sad. They looked and looked for her.
