[UK] How much does it cost to have a cat put down?

Hiya,

My partner and I have a cat. We took ownership of this cat because our neighbours moved away and left it behind. Anyway, we can't have it anymore as we're moving to a new place and the landlord doesn't allow pets (we're not even meant to have it here). The local cat shelter is full so we're just going to have it put down. How much does this cost? We ideally don't want to be spending any more than £50 on this as it's not even our cat!!
