Moving with a kitten

A friend of mine is going to move to another place in a month. In this new place it's allowed for her to have pets and she got so exited about it that she already is planning to get a kitten today after she found an add on the internet.. I told her it's not in the interest of the animal to already move in with her, seen she herself will move in a month. Told her it's better to wait a few weeks, until she can provide the animal a save and peaceful environment instead of a chaotic one. I mean the kitten needs stability and quietness, especially now.. Just after being separated from the mother..

She says I am overreacting, things will turn out fine for the pet. She says I am ruining the experience for her. While me on the other hand thinks she is naive and selfish.

What do you guys think?
