Sorry this includes a story and might be fairly long.
I really need some help because unfortunately if this issue isnt fixed my family are gonna force me to bring her to a shelter where I fear she will inevitably be put to sleep due to some dietary restrictions and this sudden issue. This cat in particular is 6 years old and I've had her since the day she was born. Literally the sweetest cat I've ever come across, never once bitten, doesn't make any complaints when kids play with her, follows me everywhere and wants to massage/lay with me. 2 weeks ago she started attacking 2 of our other cats and hissing at our dog (we have four cats, she doesn't bother the fourth). 3 days ago it got to the point where she had attacked the other cats 3 times and she was put in the bathroom with a litterbox overnight. I asked everyone not to use that bathroom, but unfortunately when my mom went to work that morning she believed that the situation would have calmed down. Needless to say it wasn't and I was awoken very early that morning not even an hour after she was let out. I feel like I need to explain that the two cats she fights with one is male and one is a senior female. When it's the male it is only her attacking him and he tries to defend himself. Once I grab her he will run and hide, but if the senior cat hears she will run and it turns into me needing to let the male escape and then separate the females. When it's the females fighting it usually takes two to separate them, I've never had to do it alone. That morning I woke up to them starting to fight beside my bed, I quickly rushed to stop it and grabbed them. I tried to quickly run the 10 feet to the bathroom and put one in there so I could put the other in the spare room, but after I threw one in I saw the male cat running to the bathroom to check out what was happening and closed the door enough so he couldn't get in to protect him from being attacked and escalating the situation. I had the senior cat in my arms facing the door/corner when the young female began jumping on me and trying to attack the other cat. She jumped on the counter then onto my head and they began fighting. I was screaming for help and eventually woke my father up. The damage was already done though and they got my arms, hands and face pretty bad as well as random ones along my ribs, chest and legs. She's been in my bedroom with me the past 3 days/nights and I don't know what to do. The senior female has been growling/hissing very often now to, but no fights since the other one has been with me. I feel terrified every single time. It's like I'm frozen in fear and I feel my heart pounding in my ears. Obviously I knew I wasn't going to die so it probably sounds stupid, but I don't know what to do. I don't know how to fix this. Even if I did I don't know if I want to keep her, but I don't want to get rid of her either. We're all she's ever known and I take pet ownership very seriously. I take is seriously for my other cats too though and I can't put them in a situation that's dangerous. My senior female still seems traumatized from what happened in the bathroom because she might've felt like I was holding her there to be attacked and now when I walk into that bathroom with her in there she starts to growl at me and wag her tail. Sometimes the other cats will try and play under the door and she's walk over just to start hissing. Tell me what the right thing to do is please. I can't bring myself to make this decision
