So I am fostering a Newfoundland (Newfie) his owner passed away unexpectedly and he and another dog ran around for a bit outside. Currently, there is no next of kin wanting to take this dog. (He’s a good doggo)
I know nothing about this dog, his name, if he is vaxxed, he definitely has NEVER been in a kennel or locked in a room. I was told this dog knows only German commands... he doesn’t. Idk if he even knows commands. He isn’t fixed... just a list of things. He’s also very anxious.
Any recommendations on how to ease this dog into kennel training?
