I have 2 cats that will be staying home while I go on vacation. Usually they are kept in their own room because we also have a dog (in the process of getting them used to each other). We are leaving for vacation soon for 5 days and the dog will be staying with my Mother in law and I want to let the cats out of their room. My issue is that we just bought a brand new couch, haven't even made the first payment on it yet and I'm scared they will tear it up. I have a tall baby gate that I can separate them from the living room but it has openings and they slide right through.
Anyone have any other ideas? Thank you.
