Whenever my cat poops, I pick it out with toilet paper and flush it down the toilet before she had a chance to bury it. The litter is changed twice a week. We clean around her food bowl 2-3 times a day. But for some reason, in the 6 days we've had her there's been a lingering fish smell around the house and on her clothing. It isn't coming from her, because she doesn't smell like fish. Her food doesn't smell like fish either since it's all poultry. We've tried using febreeze, but the smell returns after around an hour.
