I got a kitten from the humane society almost a month ago. She was new and only there for a few days they didn’t know much about her. She’s about 4 months old. She comes out to eat and play. We have another cat and she plays with him. But when we come into the room or come near her she runs away or hides. We try to sit on the floor and get her to come out but even if we move the slightest bit she runs away and hides. If we try to get near her and pick her up she hisses at us. But sometimes we manage to pick her up and she lets us hold her for a little while but then run always. She has full roam of our apartment. Is there anything I can do to get her more comfortable with us or is there something I’m doing wrong ?
