my little sister adopted a pet cat from a breeder a year and 7 months ago. Only in the past three months, she has been acting strange, as getting randomly aggressive one moment, then being very loving the next. I don't know if this information helps, but she's a female calico and unfixed. she has no health problems in her family tree and has all her shots. Her sudden aggressiveness is scary, as the scratched my older sister across the lip, and I didn't witness it so I just assumed she was pestering the cat. But this time we were just watching a movie as a family and she was sitting in my mother's lap when my mother moved her arm a little and then the cat lashed onto her face. My mother managed to get her off but then she latched onto my younger sister's face, and was hissing scarily and would not let go. My sister is being treated as I write this post, as the damage was so bad she had blood pouring down her face, and soaking her hair. I wonder if this would get worse, and my sister's sobs were so... I don't know how to explain it, I the look of sheer surprise and pain on her face, like as if she had been stabbed emotionally and mentally. I don't want to sell the cat, but my father suggests we do. If any vet or owner knows what's wrong, tell me and how I can stop it.
