I'm a very active person. I travel frequently but it's always to pet friendly areas - the beach or camping. My wife is a stay at home mom so the house is never empty and I have four kids that are all very pet friendly.
I'm looking for a companion. Intelligence is key for me as is a desire to please. Water friendly is a huge plus because of boating and the beach. I live on over an acre and it's water front but I prefer an indoor pet. Housebreaking is a must and low shed or no shed would also be awesome.
Any advice? I'm super allergic to cats. Currently I have three dogs and a cat (he's older and was inherited when we purchased our last house). The dogs are great but I'm looking for more/different.
