My cat got neutered 5 days ago and since then his health has been rapidly declining. He’s lost over 1.5kg in 5 days due to lack of appetite and dehydration.
Despite not eating he’s also had terrible diarrhoea and has been throwing up water.
We’ve taken him to the vet and they ran a full blood test and everything came back normal and healthy - they gave him an appetite stimulant and anti- sickness medication and he’s only had a couple of licks of the food.
Has anyone experienced this and overcame?
My mind keeps going to the worst place and it’s been really hard to watch him go from a vocal and cuddly kitten to sleeping all day and hardly ever meowing.
