So my sweet little princess merka and my mom haven’t gotten along she’s scratched my mom three times now the third time almost hitting her eyes which is why I said to my parents that we’re getting rid of her NOW and they put her up for sale. But after my mom told me the second time that our cat scratched her I was curious if she would attack me so my parents went shopping and I picked up the cat and had her help on her back almost like you would hold a baby to see if it would piss her off and cause her to attack and she was just chill. I grabbed at her paws and rubbed her belly and put my face right up to hers and nothing after 10 minutes though the cat wanted to go so I put her down. The most she did was pull her head backwards when my face got to close. So if I can do that and she’s fine with it then I don’t get why she attacks my moms face when she just tries to pick her up the normal way.
What would cause a cat to be so angry at one person? She loved my grandma when she came to visit she was all over her wanting pets so it’s not that she hates women. why does she only hate my mom specifically? I know for a fact My moms never done anything wrong to her. My moms understandably fears the cat now because of her deciding to claw her. She adores me and my dad and my grandma and hasn’t attacked either of us once. I seriously don’t understand this. I’m curious what could cause a cat to be like this? Anyone know? This reall sucks I love my cat so much she’s so sweet and lovable but I’m not gonna be having her attacking my mom all the time.
