Dog throws up often

I'm hoping someone might have heard of this before.

I have a pair of German Shephard-Husky-Pyrenees litter mates. One of them has an issue where she gulps down water then vomits. Can't associate with any other occurrence (food, activity, rest).

Their vet suggested omeprazole and hydrolyzed protein dog food. Vomiting seems less often but still occurring as much as twice daily, or as little as once a month.

If we limit how long she drinks (can't limit her speed), it seems to reduce vomit frequency.
