My cat attacked me and gave me a really bad deep and long scratch out of nowhere.
I feed him, clean his litter box daily and play with him. Since I don't have kids I used to think of him as my kid. It has been almost a week ( last Saturday) since the incident happened and I am not able to get over it. I feel betrayed and I do not want to touch him anymore. I still try to play with him but I am forced to do it because it is my job. I am thinking of rehoming him but I am worried if I will regret this in the future.
How can I get over this? Or is it over now for good?
