my cat is about 5/6 years old. she is extremely fat, super lazy and hates moving. she has breathing problems and snores sooo loudly you can hear her from a floor away because she's overweight. I've been trying to get her to lose weight for the past few months by only feeding her 1/4 of a cup of kibble twice a day. can I feed her 1/4 once a day? she doesn't eat 1/4 of a cup all at once, she eats about half of it and returns to it a few times throughout the day. I'm just wondering should I be feeding her more because she's always meowing when there's no food left in her bowl.
