My cat like to chew on electrical wires. I work from home and am rather diligent watching him, but I can't be everywhere all the time and sometimes I catch him chewing on cords. I heard recently that orange oil is a good way to prevent cats from chewing on things since it's very bitter to them. I can't find any studies that disprove that statement or anything saying it's harmful to cats. So to all pet owners on this subreddit, do you have any personal experiences with orange oil and your cats? Any suggestions for what I can use as an alternative if it isn't safe?
