It's always been a rule of thumb to NEVER buy from chain pet stores, because they often get their animals from pet mills. However, I recently heard in a youtube video that those pet stores only sell adoption/rescue pets now? That was extremely shocking for me. However, the people saying this are from Canada so I didn't know if the laws there are different. (I'm in the US)
So I was just wondering if anyone else here had more information on that.
