I have had my cat Simba since last august. He was treated back in October 2020 for ear mites, and the doctor told me he just will produce a lot more earwax than other cats. But now, he has been shaking his head lately again. I’m worried that something is wrong. He is my only cat and is indoors only. Also, he has a situation where he licks himself until he opens up wounds. I have tried everything, an e collar, baby onesie, topicals and nothing seems to take effect. What could be causing these things? I have been unhappy with the vet we have seen in the past and will call several around town tomorrow to hopefully get him in soon. Any ideas what could be wrong?
