While looking into ways of protecting the kidneys of a senior cat, I have kept coming across articles mentioning some rather interesting effects of Rehmannia Glutinosa on the kidneys and on general health. I was wondering, does anyone here have experience with supplementing a cat with this herb? Would it be safe? And if so, do you have recommendations for what product to use? I have some trouble finding pure Rehmannia Glutinosa root extract, it's usually a part of a mixture and I'm not sure which product would be safe for my cat. It seems like this herb is a pretty popular supplement for cats and yet I can't find a specific safe product for pets!
I reside in Switzerland, so I would particularly appreciate any recommendations for products that I can get my hands on in Europe.
