I'm trying to help rehome a family dog of mine but I'm not sure I'm doing everything I can to try and find someone.
I've posted on my fb page and in some rehoming groups for my state but I haven't gotten any takers yet (granted it's only been a day). I just really don't want to see her put in a pound or shelter (she's a pitbull and I just know it'll end badly). I just want her to be loved.
My family are opting to rehome her because she has been dog aggressive. We were given her 3-4 years ago when she was a puppy and wasn't being cared for properly. She's been in tuffles with our other dog around her age but it's only been recently that she made a wound on one of our dogs. My family is scared she'll hurt the other dogs (they're all smaller than her) and they're not sure they have the time or resources to train this out.
I know her needing to be the only dog in a home will make it a bit tough to rehome her but I really want to find her a nice forever home. I feel like i could be doing more than just posting on Facebook.
