Should I let my cat on my bed?

Parents Got a cat She’s cute and cuddly and will sing meow loudly till I open my door at night and let her on my bed which is kinda cute but after searching the web I worry about germs, parasites and other stuff being a problem. Cat has all shots and everything Should I shut my bedroom door and no longer allow her on my bed? How many of you all let your cat on the bed? Have you gotten sick from it?

Edit: alright final decision is made i picked up the cat sat her outside the bedroom door and shut it. I’m no longer ever allowing my dog or cat on my bed. And I’m gonna wash my hands and clean my bedding. In

fact they ain’t gonna lay on me or to near me ever now. After searching the internet and now a Reddit comment animals are really nasty def not ever getting one once I live on my own. Def never cleaning the litter box again I don’t care that’s my parents job for now on.

I feel so dirty now I need to shower seems like animals are little furry parasite and bacteria machines. I love my dog and he’s always snuggled with me since I was way young but that shit is nasty af. I’ll pet them and I’ll play with my dog but that’s it. They aren’t snuggling on me, licking me or laying on my lap anymore. If it were up to me couch would be off limit to. Never realized how nasty animals are till now. Now I’m gonna be paranoid about it all the time. Gonna be constantly washing my hands.
