So i'm thinking about getting a flying squirrel as a pet but there a few things im curious about and i would be grateful for a bit of help. First off, can you release your squirrel outside, as in, are there any dangers for it and what are the chances it runs away? Another thing is, how are they expected to behave around dogs and is it even a good idea to have them near one? And lastly, do they need to be kept in cages or do they even need one To begin with?
